This information would usually only be of interest to a network guru. These features will only be available with the Full Menus preference.
You can edit sign-up files using a simple dialog box.
In order to edit a new sign-up file, use the New command in the File menu, and select "Sign-Up File" for the type of the file. A dialog describing the empty sign-up file will appear.
Now you may copy computer descriptions already stored in TOPS Terminal Memory into the new sign-up file using the Copy button. If the descriptions use non-standard settings, they will also be copied.
When you are done, click the OK button or close the window. All changes are immediate upon pressing the Copy button, so beware.
Editing an existing sign-up file is much the same. Use the File menu's Open command to open the file; the above described dialog will appear. Copy computers from TOPS Terminal Memory into the file, and close when done. If you specify a computer already there, the old description will be overwritten.
